BigLaw Firm Introduces Coaching and Support for Lawyers Who Have ADHD

Casey Dixon, Founder and Lead Coach, Dixon Life Coaching

You've heard us report that according to a 2016 study conducted by the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and the ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs published in the Journal of Addiction Medicine, 12.5% of lawyers surveyed reported that they have ADHD. A number that is significantly higher than adults in the general population.

This report has been a major eye-opener for law firms across the country, reducing stigma and opening doors for lawyers with ADHD to seek support for their executive function challenges.

In fact, many law firms are actively seeking out coaching services and other forms of support for their firms, including Goodwin Procter who recently partnered with Dixon Life Coaching to provide services to its lawyers who have ADHD and education for other lawyers and staff. And it got press in the ABA Journal!
