About Dixon Life Coaching
About Us Webpage: https://www.dixonlifecoaching.com/about-us

Dixon Life Coaching partners with law firms and legal organizations to support attorney performance, sustainability, and professional well-being—particularly where ADHD and executive functioning challenges intersect with the demands of legal practice.

We specialize in working with high-achieving professionals in complex, high-pressure environments. Our work is grounded in a deep understanding of how legal systems, expectations, and workflows shape performance, and why many traditional productivity or professional development approaches fall short for attorneys and legal professionals.

Dixon Life Coaching has extensive experience working within large law firm environments and legal organizations, collaborating closely with Professional Development, HR, DEI, coaching, leadership, and well-being teams. Our role is often to complement and strengthen existing internal initiatives by providing specialized expertise, practical frameworks, and implementation-focused support that translates insight into sustained behavior change.

Experience snapshot:
To date, we have supported numerous law firms across coaching, cohort programs, CLEs, workshops, and structured co-working. This breadth of experience supports scalability across roles, seniority levels, and firm cultures while remaining adaptable to firm-specific needs.
Our programs are designed for real-world legal contexts. We account for:

-
Billable-hour structures and workload variability
-
Constant interruption and competing priorities
-
High cognitive load and precision demands
-
Cultural norms around responsiveness and performance
-
Ethical and professional responsibility considerations
We adapt evidence-informed strategies to the realities attorneys face day-to-day, rather than offering generic solutions. This ensures that what participants learn is not only theoretically sound but also usable in their work environments.
Mission and Values
Mission
Dixon Life Coaching exists to support high-achieving professionals—particularly attorneys and legal professionals—with ADHD and executive functioning challenges in working more effectively and sustainably in demanding environments.

We believe that performance struggles in legal practice are rarely the result of a lack of intelligence, effort, or commitment. Instead, they reflect a mismatch between human cognitive limits and the growing complexity of modern legal work. Our mission is to help individuals and organizations bridge that gap by designing ways of working that support focus, follow-through, well-being, and long-term professional excellence.

Using leading-edge research, a coaching-based approach, and deep experience in legal environments, we develop high-impact programs that help clients build on their strengths, reduce unnecessary friction, and create durable change—without relying on burnout, overextension, or last-minute urgency.

Values
Our work is guided by the following core values:

Generative Mindset
We focus on what can be designed, built, and improved—rather than on blame, deficit, or rigid prescriptions.

Courage and Curiosity
We encourage honest inquiry into what is and is not working, even when the answers challenge long-held assumptions about productivity, professionalism, or success.

Exceptional Quality
We hold ourselves to a high standard in research, design, facilitation, and delivery. Our programs are thoughtfully constructed, evidence-informed, and tailored to the complexity of legal work.

Growth and Transformation
We believe that sustainable improvement is possible at every stage of a legal career. Our work supports lasting development—strengthening performance, resilience, and professional satisfaction over time.
One-to-One Coaching Program
One-to-One Coaching Webpage: https://signup.dixonlifecoaching.com/one-to-one-coaching
What It Is
One-to-One coaching is a structured, individualized working partnership designed to support attorneys and other legal professionals whose executive functioning challenges affect day-to-day performance. Coaching focuses on how ADHD and executive functioning differences show up in legal work—and how to design practical systems and strategies that support effectiveness, sustainability, and alignment with role demands.
Rather than offering generic productivity advice, this coaching is grounded in the realities of legal practice and tailored to the individual’s work context, responsibilities, strengths, and goals. The emphasis is on translating insight into consistent action over time.
Who It Is For
One-to-One coaching is well-suited for:

-
Attorneys and legal professionals at any level, from early career to senior leadership

Individuals with ADHD or EF challenges who are capable and motivated, but experiencing friction with follow-through, planning, time management, or sustainability
-
Professionals seeking individualized support that addresses both immediate performance challenges and longer-term effectiveness
-
Employees whose needs are not well met by standard training programs or one-size-fits-all systems
This program is commonly sponsored by firms as part of Professional Development, Coaching, DEI, accommodations, or Well-Being initiatives.
Focus of Coaching
Common areas of focus include:

-
How EF challenges affect planning, follow-through, communication, and energy management
-
Patterns that create unnecessary friction or over-reliance on urgency
-
Decision-making, prioritization, and goal alignment in complex legal environments
-
Designing ways of working that align with strengths, values, and role demands
-
Practical strategies, accommodations, and external systems to reduce cognitive load
-
Moving beyond constant problem-fixing toward sustained effectiveness and professional excellence
The emphasis of the coaching program is insight paired with action—understanding what is happening and deliberately shaping how work gets done.
Program Structure
The One-to-One Coaching Program is designed as a six-month engagement, reflecting the reality that sustainable change requires more than short-term problem solving.
Each month includes:

-
Three 60-minute coaching sessions (patterns, systems, decisions, mindset, and goals)
-
One 15-minute “laser” session (timely recalibration and momentum between sessions)
Under limited circumstances, a three-month version of the program may be offered to align with sponsor or organizational protocols. The monthly session structure remains the same.
What’s Included
In addition to live coaching sessions, the program includes:

-
Ongoing reflection, accountability, and between-session support, including brief text/email check-ins, time-sensitive questions, gentle nudges, and acknowledgment of progress (used collaboratively and intentionally).
-
Access to the Live Well ADHD hybrid course, used as a shared educational framework to build common language, reinforce key concepts, and support application between coaching sessions.
Investment (Firm-Sponsored Coaching)
-
$8,100 paid in full, or
-
$1,433.50 per month for six months (total $8,601)
Bespoke Executive Coaching for Partner-Level Attorneys
In certain circumstances, firms request a more bespoke coaching engagement for partner-level attorneys or senior leaders, particularly where the scope, cadence, or strategic focus differs from the standard One-to-One Coaching Program.

These engagements are designed collaboratively and typically involve direct coaching with Casey Dixon, founder of Dixon Life Coaching. Pricing typically begins at $12,000, with final scope and structure determined in consultation with firm leadership or Professional Development.
Group-Based Programs and Structured Co-Working
Dixon Life Coaching’s group-based programs are designed to provide scalable, role-appropriate support for attorneys and legal professionals navigating executive functioning challenges in high-demand environments. These offerings combine evidence-informed content, structured application, and external accountability to support performance, well-being, and consistent follow-through—without singling out individuals or relying on one-to-one coaching alone.

While each program serves a distinct purpose, all group-based offerings share a common foundation:

-
ADHD- and executive-function-informed strategies
-
Practical application within real legal and professional contexts
-
External structure that reduces reliance on willpower or urgency
-
Tools and frameworks participants can continue using after the program ends
Firms may offer these programs independently or in combination, depending on organizational goals, audience, and level of support needed.
The Focused Lawyer
The Focused Lawyer Webpage: https://signup.dixonlifecoaching.com/the-focused-lawyer
What It Is
The Focused Lawyer is Dixon Life Coaching’s flagship group program for attorneys. It is most commonly delivered as a firm-specific, in-house cohort, designed in collaboration with Professional Development and firm leadership. Firms may also choose to sponsor attorneys to participate in DLC-hosted open cohorts, which run twice per year.
Designed specifically for the realities of legal practice, the program addresses executive functioning challenges that commonly affect planning, follow-through, time entry, workload management, and long-term sustainability.
Delivery Options
Firm-Specific In-House Cohorts (Primary Model)

Live Well ADHD
Live Well ADHD Webpage: https://dixonlifecoaching.com/live-well-adhd
What It Is
Live Well ADHD is a self-guided online course with a supplemental 6-week live training program, and is Dixon Life Coaching’s foundational training program for high-achieving professionals with ADHD and executive functioning challenges. Unlike attorney-specific offerings, Live Well ADHD is profession-agnostic and designed to support professionals across industries.

While not tailored exclusively to legal practice, the program provides a strong educational and practical foundation that is highly relevant to lawyers and legal professionals navigating focus, follow-through, planning, and energy challenges in complex, high-demand environments. It is particularly effective as a scalable training option or as a complement to coaching and group-based programs.
Program Structure and Curriculum
Live Well ADHD is a six-module, evidence-informed training program designed to help participants understand how their ADHD brains work—and how to work with them rather than against them. The program combines education, practical tools, and structured application.

Module 1: The Key to Your ADHD Brain
Participants learn how to unlock their ADHD brains so they can follow through on what they already know how—and intend—to do. This module decodes common ADHD myths, introduces core principles for living well with ADHD, explains the brain chemistry of high-achieving professionals with ADHD, and explores how to optimize brain function with, without, or beyond medication.

Module 2: Boost Your Brain
This module focuses on building habits that support consistent cognitive functioning. Participants learn how to optimize executive functioning by filling their “cognitive tank” through nutrition, sleep, movement, breaks, and intentional choice-making.

Module 3: How to Design in Advance
Participants learn how to design plans, routines, and systems that work with their ADHD brains. This module introduces foundational design principles, planning strategies, and practical ways to create structures that reduce friction and increase follow-through.

Module 4: Externalize the Sh*t Out of It
This module teaches participants how to offload cognitive demands from their brains into the external world. Participants learn how to reduce cognitive load, build effective routines, and use external supports to follow through on the systems designed in Module 3.

Module 5: Manufacture Motivation with the ADHD Trifecta
Participants learn how motivation actually works in the ADHD brain and how to intentionally manufacture it using three dopamine drivers: high interest, urgency, and other people. The module focuses on getting started and sustaining momentum without relying on stress or last-minute pressure.

Module 6: The Way to Stack Your Tactics
In the final module, participants learn how to integrate and “stack” tactics from across the program—brain chemistry, design, externalization, and motivation—so they have multiple, flexible strategies to support follow-through in different situations.
Each module includes short video lessons and practical checklists designed to support real-world application.

Hybrid Format and Delivery
Live Well ADHD is delivered as a self-paced online course that includes:

-
Six modules of short, accessible video lessons
-
A comprehensive workbook to support reflection and application
-
Practical exercises designed to be used alongside real professional workloads
All participants who enroll in the course are also invited to participate in the Live Well ADHD Accelerator, a six-week live group training experience.
The Accelerator is designed to help participants:

-
Revisit and absorb course material more deeply
-
Talk through concepts and challenges with peers
-
Share strategies and normalize ADHD-related experiences
-
Build momentum and accountability
-
Complete the course in a supportive, structured environment
The Accelerator is particularly valuable for participants who struggle to complete self-paced courses independently due to ADHD.
